G.R.G. National Girls Sr. Secondary School, Sirsa was established in 1990 and its foundation stone was laid by Hon’ble Ch. Om Parkash Chautala, the then Chief Minister of Haryana on a very auspicious day of Lohri i.e. January 13, 1990. The idea to start a school was conceived by worthy members of Sirsa Education Society, Sirsa and was transformed into a reality by Sh. Sat Narain Goyal (Member, S.E.S.) who donated Rs. Five Lac in the everlasting memory of his father Late Sh. Gopi Ram Goyal. The Govt. of Haryana provided Rs. Ten Lac under Ch. Devi Lal Double Matching Grant Scheme. The rest of the money and land was provided by Sirsa Education Society, Sirsa.
The school provides facility of education in English medium from Nursery to Class V and both Hindi as well as English medium from Class VI to XII. It is co-educational up to Class XII. School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school imparts not only academic knowledge to its students but also strives for inculcation of discipline, community
service, ethical awareness, moral values and their all round development. The students are offered all the three streams-Commerce, Humanities and Science at the Sr. Sec. (10+1, 10+2) level. Every year a number of students from our school get admissions in Medical, Engineering and other professional courses.
